DESCRIPTION:Ecotourism Australia is pleased to announce the inaugural 2024 Global Sustainable Tourism Summit will be held in Meanjin/Brisbane\, QLD on 4 to 6 June 2024.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nPreviously known as the Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference\, one of the longest running ecotourism conferences in the world\, the Global Sustainable Tourism Summit combines the Global Eco Conference with the innovative ECO Think Destination Forum held in 2022 and 2023. \nThe Global Sustainable Tourism Summit will explore the theme ‘People\, Planet\, Place\, Purpose’\, delving into how all sectors of the visitor economy can address the four pillars of sustainability: cultural\, environmental\, socio-economic\, and sustainable business management. \nThe Summit is designed for all sectors of the visitor economy to hear from industry leaders and sustainability experts\, exchange ideas about how to grow Australia’s sustainable and ecotourism sector and showcase the latest innovations and best practice examples. It is an opportunity to discuss and explore the challenges\, issues and opportunities in sustainable tourism while engaging with industry stakeholders.
